Staying human in the face of life's challenges is the most important work we do. It's the hero's journey that all of us wake up to everyday. Sometimes it gets complicated, frustrating, or overwhelming and we need a guide with special skills. That's what counseling provides.
In the more than 20 years I've been a counselor, I've worked with many issues and all sorts of people. I often help people through times of anxiety, depression, and loss of meaning in life. I also enjoy helping people discover their strengths and stay true to themselves during relationship and career changes.
I counsel, teach, and lead workshops because it makes my life full and meaningful. I'm incredibly lucky that it's my job everyday.
